This match was originally scheduled for Saturday 16th May but had to be postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Coming, as it did, after the heavy home defeat against Muang Thong and the disappointing away draw at Chula, it was an ideal opportunity for Chonburi to get back to winning ways. However, the visitors soon found themselves two goals down and chasing the game.
In spite of a late flurry of chances, and Kone's goal, the TTM defence held firm and Chonburi slumped to their second defeat in a three game winless streak. I wonder how costly these results will be come the end of the season?
