New!! Season Review by Tim Spear: 2022

 Season Review
by Tim Spear

In reality, we had two seasons. Well, two half seasons. In the first leg our best player was Dennis, but this was mainly because he had Worachit playing alongside him. Worachit was immense. It was such a shame we let him go. A big mistake by the club.

The second leg was a tough watch. Midfield plodders like Saharat do not have the vision and just play safe. This attitude cost us so many opportunities, especially as it appeared in every game that he was trying to avoid passing to Kanuk. So disappointing to see the ugly side of Thai football.

I would hope we can forge a team who work and play together. A team that is for everyone. In my opinion, Saharat has no place in a unified team,. Which is disappointing to see, but even more sad to say.

Yoo Byung-Soo was the star of the second half of the season, which shows how little we created. But his goals were important. Eldstal was hot and cold, but overall very nervous. We need more confidence at the back, even if this can sometimes lead to errors. Nothing ventured, nothing gained

It was good to see us have a go again in the cups. We played a full strength team in all our ties. It is worth it, but we have to create, and take, chances if we want to win anything.

For next season, I would like to see our wingers with pace given more game time. We need to be a bit more adventurous and entertaiing.
