Nakhon Ratchasima central defender, Charlie Clough shares his views on the team's performance over the first half of the season and looks forward to the second leg.
Q - Overall, how satisfied are you with your team's performance over the first half of the season?
Slightly disappointed in how we performed during the first leg. Whole new squad of players except 3/4 so that could be a factor, but I thought we started the season well. Compared to last season we lack that little bit of experience and ‘know how’ to get results.
Q - What has been the highlight of your season so far?
Highlight of the season I would say is beating Chonburi at home. We were going on a winless streak and to get that just before the end of the first leg was massive!
Q - And the low point?
Low point has got to be playing away to Lampang on the worst pitch I have ever seen. It was completely flooded and the referee continued the game. Up there with one of the least enjoyable games I have played in.
Q - What are your hopes for the rest of the season for your club?
I’d say for us as a club to become more consistent in our results. We need to collect as many points as we can early in the second leg so we are away from the drop zone towards the end of the season.
Q - Please sum up your season so far with song lyrics or by song title
Yazz - 'The Only Way is Up'
