Buriram Utd supporter, Jamie Pinder (left) is next up with his season preview.
What are your expectations for your club in the season ahead?
Finish top 2 and maybe even be Champions again. It's a strange feeling to have already gone 2 years without finishing top.
How do you think the lack of a regular pre season will affect your early performances?
Everyone is really in the same boat. The ACL finished a while ago and I'm sure Buriram will have prepared well and be ready.
What are your thoughts on your team's opening four fixtures?
To start with 4 home games should give us an advantage as recently we've started slowly. It'll be fabulous to start with 4 wins.
What do you make of your new signings?
Buriram have been fairly quiet and I'm happy that the core of the team will remain the same.
And what about the players you've let go?
Sasalak's loan will be a big short term loss but when he returns I expect him to contribute hugely.
Which players will have the most impact this season?
Finally the "Supa" boys will perform and take the league by storm. Suphanut will have a true breakout season.
If you could re-sign one of your club's former players, at the peak of his powers, who would it be?
How could I look past Diogo? But very close behind I'd take Frank Achemapong (who still hasn't reached his peak) or Osmar Ibanez.
If you could give your head coach one piece of advice, what would it be?
Give Suphanut more game time!
Once we're allowed back in, which home games are you most looking forward to?
Muang Thong, of course, and BGPU. I'm really looking forward, also, to welcoming the fans from NongBua and Khon Kaen Utd. Those two matches will have a wild atmosphere.
And which away games are you most looking forward to?
Looking forward to visiting all 3 newly promoted teams. The two Isaan teams are on our schedule for the end of the season so we should be good to go by then.
How do you plan to follow the matches you're not allowed to attend?
On my sofa with my cats and the App.
What do you think of your club's new kits?
Our home kit is pretty normal but I love the recently released Orange 3rd kit. Still waiting on the proper away kit. What color will it be this year??
What song would you choose for your team's run out music on match days?
Two Tribes. Just love the vibe.
What are your thoughts on the plan for the way the season will start?
I think the season needs to start, with or without fans. The EPL is back so fans have had their desire to football rekindled. The TPL can hopefully piggyback on that interest but it's going to be tough without lots of fans getting to attend. We're incredibly lucky, as we stand, that we're allowed 25% capacity. If we can get 8,000 thru the gates it'll be great for both us, and the visiting teams.
How long do you think it will be before things can return to "normal"?
I'm in agreement that it'll probably be the second leg purely because of the fear factor of big crowds gathering together.
Who are your favourites to win the league?
Us and BG. I really can't see any other teams mounting a sustained challenge. Other teams will flatter to deceive, as they did last year. I said, back in October last year, that BG would win and Buriram United, who were down near the bottom at the time, would finish second. It's a marathon, you know.
Who is going down?
I have really no idea. Same as in the EPL, you have to look at the newly promoted clubs. One will have an outstanding season and finish top half, the other two will be fighting all year (but don't ask me which ones!)
Which team would you most like to beat this season?
BG more than Muang Thong. Need to put them in their place.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Just hoping for some exciting games and looking forward to catching up with everyone over the next 9 months. I really enjoy meeting everyone thru the season and having some colorful banter. We have a great bunch of fans on Twitter and I feel priviliged to be a part of it.
