Two Former Real Madrid Youth Players On Trial
Two former Real Madrid youth players are due to train with Chonburi this week. The pair, Lionel Franck and Bo Ampleford both age twenty one, will arrive today and be pitched straight into training.
Coach Heng said,"These are the kind of players we have been looking for to partner Pipob On-Mo in attack. We still have room for overseas signings so we will watch them this week and may sign them before the February 10th deadline."

Two trialists Train With Squad
The two former Real Madrid youth team players who are currently on trial at Chonburi ,have been training with the squad. Lionel Franck and Bo Ampleford, who arrived on Tuesday, have spent the last two days being put through their paces by the coaching staff.
Coach Witthaya Laohkul said, "They have already shown some good skills but we won't be rushing into anything. We would like to see more before we make a decision on whether or not to offer them contracts." It is expected that the pair will feature in Saturday's match against Ratchaburi.

Match report
Pay no attention to the score - the home team's two goals came during a second half in which Chonburi made fifteen changes - this performance gave enough indication that we have been working hard during training and look set to have a good season. Some of the passing and moving was sublime and the new look 4-5-1 seems to give us more fluidity. Everyone looked comfortable in possession and we appeared happy to mix it up, resorting to the long ball when it was required.
We defended well, against a fairly lively and quick forward line, I can only recall Sinthaweechai making one save over the course of the first forty five minutes. And not only has Anucha made a big difference at left back but it has also enabled Natthapong to move into a more effective left sided midfield role ala Gareth Bale. A smart move by the coaching staff and one which gives us more options when going forward.
The rest of the midfield worked hard and created a lot of chances which, on any other day, might have found the net. Pipob, who was as lively as ever, hit the bar, the post and forced the keeper into making a couple of good saves. We also seem to have adopted a refreshing "shoot on sight" policy and the players seem more than happy to have a go when they get the opportunity.
The two former Real Madrid youth team players were impressive - they both scored - and surely did enough in the hour or so they were on the pitch to persuade the club to offer them contracts. I for one will be disappointed if they don't get signed. They have real (no pun intended) quality and will bring a lot to the team.
Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and I feel that we can approach the forthcoming campaign with a lot of optimism. There seems to be a much more professional approach this year and the coaching staff all appear to be singing from the same hymn sheet. The players too look as though they are responding well and the team spirit is good. Roll on the 19th.

Trialists Unlikely To Sign
It appears unlikely that the two former Real Madrid youth team players Bo Ampleford and Lionel Franck will be offered contracts by the club. Coach Witthaya Laohkul said earlier today that the pair, who both scored in Saturday's friendly against Ratchaburi, had impressed during their trial but, on reflection, were no better than the players we already have.
