New! Interview With A BG Pathum Utd Fan: 2022

Here's my pre match interview with BG Pathum Utd fan, Terence.

Please can you introduce yourself
My name is Terence and I’m from Singapore.

How long have you been supporting BG?
Since 2010

What first got you interested in BG?
I first noticed BG in 2009 when the club took part in the Singapore Cup. I started following them when they returned to Singapore in 2010 and won it.

How long have you been writing your Facebook page and why did you start it?
This page was started in January 2020 with the intention to reach out to more non-thai speaking fans. But then Covid came along and some things did not happen exactly how I had planned.

What has been the highlight of your time supporting the club?
Winning T1 was a great feeling, but for me, I would say winning T2 in 2019 as it was a valuable year of ‘growing up’ for us.

And have there been any low points?
Definitely the last match day of 2018 which resulted in the relegation. All we needed was one point and we did not manage to get the job done.

What are your opinions on BG's recent AFC CL campaign?
We had a good run and got the opportunity to see where we stand against top opponents in Asia in competitive matches.

How do you think this will affect the start of your league campaign?
The bonding that the team had over the last two months will play a crucial role this season. Now that most teams in the league have already played three matches, it will be down to us to do our job and catch up.

What are your expectations for the club this season?
With the squad we have, we will definitely be looking to be at our best for every competition that we are playing in.

What are your impressions of your head coach?
A good coach who brings in a slightly different style, philosophy & belief to the team. This season will be an important one for him and the team.

What do you know about Chonburi FC?
Once a club to be reckoned but I still believe that the blue sharks can achieve more than they have in recent years

What are you expecting from Wednesday's game?
Three points! But Chonburi has never made it easy for us.

Which of our players are you most wary of?
Sumanya! He knows us well and he can definitely turn the game around on his day!

Which of your players do we need to be wary of?
I think every single player on the field.. Players can change but the idea of play remains the same.

Would you care to make a score prediction?
2-1 to BG
