Interview With A Bangkok Glass Fan: 2014

Interview With A Bangkok Glass Fan
8th November, 2014

A quick pre FA Cup final interview with Bangkok Glass fan Flo.

Q - What have been your impressions of Bangkok Glass this season?
A - Before the season, I had expected the club to finish the TPL in a position among the top 5. Consequently, I am disappointed with the performance in the TPL, eventually finishing in 11th position. On the other hand, I am happy with the results in both cup competitions, League Cup and FA Cup.

Q - You had a pretty tough run to the final - did you think you would make it?
A - On the way to the final, we had to overcome some tough opponents, such as Buriram Utd and Muang Thong Utd. And in the semi-final with Chiang Rai Utd, Bangkok Glass had to go through extra time and a penalty shootout. I was not convinced we would get that far, hence I am very happy with where we stand now.

Q - What do you think about the choice of Supachalasai for the final?
A - I personally like Supachalasai stadium because of its location and size. It is easy to reach, especially if you live in Bangkok, and its capacity is right for this type of match, promising a nice atmosphere.

Q - What would it mean to Bangkok Glass to win the FA Cup?
A - What counts this year for Bangkok Glass is to finally win a title again. The most recent titles, the Queen's Cup and Singapore Cup, date back to 2010.

Q - Who would you like to see become an FA Cup final hero?
A - I wish Bangkok Glass's Chatree Chimtale would become the hero of the match. Even if he was not always in the starting squad, he has demonstrated loyalty to his club for several years and when called on the pitch, he gives his best for the team.

Q - Would you care to make a score prediction?
A - I am hoping for a 2:1 win for Bangkok Glass.
