Chonburi FC Horoscopes: 2015

CHONBURI FC: 2015 HOROSCOPES
1st January, 2015

At the start of 2015, I matched Daily Star astrologer Lori Reid's horoscope predictions to five men who had a Chonburi FC connection at the time. See below to see what was in store for them over the coming twelve months.

Sinthaweechai Hathairattanakool (Goalkeeper): Aries
It's time to shake out that irritating grit in your shoe that’s been hampering your progress. Whether the problem stems from a clash of personalities at work, from a glass ceiling or from a job you don’t like, 2015 gives you a way. (He's going to issue a "come and get me" plea to other clubs)

If there’s no way to increase your creativity in the job, pour your talents into spare time activities. Book yourself onto a course mid February to March 8 and pick up valuable techniques. Or change your career path altogether. (A career as a male model beckons)

Learning from now to 2017 could point to a degree or apprenticeship. Since the financial squeeze is easing, you should be feeling better off. But don’t go mad – put a little cash by for the leaner months of June-September! (Out injured for four months and the modeling work will dry up)

Whatever challenge you take up, be sure to deliver on every promise. (I’ll be paying a lot more attention to those interviews on the official site this year)

Therdsak Chaiman (Midfielder): Libra
Look upon 2015 as a bridge to a brighter future. (Head coach of  Chonburi FC)

This is a year of two halves. January to July is a time for team-building, extending your social network and making important contacts. An absorbing interest keeps you enthralled through the early months. Keep going; you’re building a strong core of knowledge and expertise to carry you through over the next ten to twelve years. (He's set to become the longest serving club manager in Thailand. And he’ll be playing well into his 50s, thanks to his new personal trainer and dietician)

Financially, stay sharp June to September to avoid being led astray again. The second half of the year from August to December is characterised by secrets, intrigue and lots of behind the scenes goings-on. (They’re planning to sack Jadet  and give Therdsak the job)

Much of what happens may seem invisible but quieten down, settle in, think and reflect. (Hmmm. Confirmation that they're planning to sack Jadet and give Therdsak the job)

It’s a time to tie up loose ends and prepare for a dynamic year in 2016. (Treble winner in his first season as player/head coach)

Thiago Cunha (Striker): Taurus
That busy, expansive spell which began last summer continues through 2015. (Goals, goals, goals!)

Apply for a new job or grab the chance to make a fresh start this January. With the stars shining on occupations linked to houses, land and domestic affairs, working in areas such as retail, catering, farming, the hotel business or home improvements should benefit. (Oh no! He wants a transfer. Or he'll retire and open up a B&B in Bang Saen)

If you run your own business, are a freelancer or work from home you’ll thrive. In fact, you may consider expanding in 2015 as more work comes your way. (Introduces a regular Gourmet Night at the B&B or becomes a regular in the Timor Leste national team)

Can you cope with the extra demand? Working as part of a team could be your ticket to success. But, as a savvy Taurean, you know mixing friends and money is rarely a good idea. (Aaarrgghh! More injuries on the way)

Jadet Meelarp (Head Coach): Capricorn
With luck in your money zone over summer, this could be the year when a windfall gives you the chance to think bigger and better than ever before. (Yippee! He’s being given cash to spend in the transfer window)

If you’ve longed to make that trip of a lifetime, take up a new interest or even move abroad then start making plans! In 2015 a panorama of new vistas await. (The SriRacha job is calling)

A holiday could trigger this desire for a new challenge and make you find fresh fields to conquer. (He’s got two weeks booked at Thiago's B&B in Bang Saen)

If you are not travelling geographically, you’ll stretch boundaries intellectually – reading, training, going to workshops and classes. You’re drawn to higher education, the travel industry, the legal profession, politics or publishing. (Jadet to be the first post coup democratically elected PM)

Don’t forget that voluntary work is good for the soul. (He’s not being paid by Chonburi)

Jaime Braganca (ex-Chonburi player): Gemini
Ready to make that big break – walk away from a job, find a better career path? This year, Gemini, it’s all change. (He’s going to try his hand at being a footballer)

It’s also the year for big ideas. You’ll grow in confidence with communications and meetings, correspondence and sales all benefit in the first half of 2015. (3 transfers in 3 months. The cash from all those signing on fees just keeps rolling in)

If your job involves travel, have a Plan B up your sleeve in late January to mid February when hassles are likely. If you’re looking for a new job, March is promising. (Travel!? He’s had 16 clubs in 10 years!)

This is also a good time to upgrade equipment and get the latest in technology or a more prestigious car. (A new video camera perhaps. Or non slip boots)

Classes are highlighted this spring. The second half of the year is a time to exploit your talents or hobbies – perhaps a sideline could begin? (Travel agent? Video editor?)

Linking up with a business partner or agent is a plus. (His agent undoubtedly agrees. They must have made a few bob from all those transfers)
