In late 2011, Thailand suffered from some very serious flooding. At the time, four Chonburi players were training with the national squad. Here's an e mail I received from Nin, a regular correspondent, who asked me to publicise how the quartet had been helping with the flood relief in Bangkok.
Dear Dale,
I've been working with the Senate's Sports Committee in Bangkok organizing a food donation for the 1,500 evacuees who are temporarily living at the Sports Authority of Thailand.
We have been doing so much work and it has just been so wonderful to help people in need. We've had support from many sides, as well as the national team players from Chonburi FC who devoted 2-3 hours of their own time preparing and cooking the noodles. They just volunteered to help out, which was very generous.
Therdsak's house has been extremely flooded but he still insisted to help cook!
So I was wondering if you would be able to post these pics on your site as a way to publicize what these kind players (Therdsak, Pipob, Sinthaweechai and Ekaphan) have done for the public. Something short and simple would be more than perfect.
Regards,
Nin
